Review
Today I passed by Jinse Lingyu and it happened to be mealtime, so I thought I’d just find something to eat. I saw this Street Stall Satay Noodles place. It feels like the ‘Street Stall’ series has really opened a lot of locations in Foshan recently, and they mainly serve satay yi mein.
I came at mealtime, and the place was quite busy, seeming more lively than some nearby restaurants, so I sat down to try it.
This time I didn’t order their signature satay noodles or the masala, but instead ordered a tomato beef brisket noodles for 21 yuan, thinking I’d try other flavors. After ordering by scanning the QR code, it arrived in about five or six minutes; the service was pretty fast.
🍅 Tomato Beef Brisket Noodles
The tomato sauce flavor is quite rich, the beef brisket is stewed very tender, and the noodles have absorbed plenty of the broth. It’s not a traditional soup noodle, nor like mixed noodles; it’s more of a half-soup, half-mixed texture, so the overall flavor is quite concentrated. The portion is just right, and one person won’t feel overly full after finishing. At 21 yuan, I think the price is okay. I originally just wanted to grab a casual meal while passing by, but this tomato flavor gave me a little surprise.
Next time I have the chance I’ll come again, and I should try their satay noodles. Overall, I can recommend it.
