After eating, I came out for a stroll and happened to see a face wash and hair wash shop next door. I actually usually prefer head massages, but facial cleansing is something guys rarely do. Today I happened to have time, so I thought I’d try it for the first time. I first checked the prices on Dianping, and they were basically the same as in the store. I asked what the 69.9 yuan includes, and was told basic moisturizing + hair wash. The store also has a 99 yuan option, which they said includes deep cleansing.

Because it was my first time and I didn’t know how big the difference was, I decided to try the cheaper one first. However, when ordering, the staff lady was quite actively recommending the more expensive items, but I basically ignored her and insisted on trying the basic one first.

The platform said 70 minutes, but the actual experience didn’t reach 70 minutes, probably less than an hour. The store isn’t very large, but the equipment inside looks quite new, and it feels like a chain brand.

After lying down, they first cleansed my face, then washed my hair, and finally blow-dried it. The whole process was actually quite comfortable. To be honest, there’s nothing wrong with a guy occasionally getting a facial. Previously I always thought this kind of service might be more suitable for girls, but once I actually sat down and tried it, it didn’t feel that complicated; it was mainly about relaxing. This was my first experience, and overall I’d give it about 7.5 points.

69.9 yuan, I think the value for money is just right.

At least for a first try, you don’t need to spend too much money and can find out whether you like it. In the future, if I have the chance, I’ll probably try a few different shops to see the differences.
