I came to Foshan MixC World today. It just opened yesterday, and I didn’t expect it to be so packed! At mealtime, basically every restaurant had a line.
I wandered all the way to the top floor and saw this Japanese tonkatsu restaurant. It happened to have a new store discount of 12% off, so I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered a classic set meal; after the discount it came to just over 50 yuan, which was pretty reasonable. If you save the restaurant and leave a review on Dianping, they also give you a free tea jelly.
Overall, I thought their service was pretty good and the food tasted decent. The tonkatsu was fried well—crispy on the outside, plump and juicy inside—and tasted quite fresh.
If you happen to be shopping at MixC World and want a simple Japanese tonkatsu meal, this place is worth a try.
