Today I was running errands nearby and it was just around mealtime, so I wanted to find a place for a simple bite. I browsed through my bookmarks and found that this “Yi Mian” had been lying in there for quite a while, so it was perfect timing to check it out.

After sitting down, I scanned the QR code to order. I ordered a Satay Three Treasures Yi Mein and a bottle of iced Vitasoy. The food came out quickly; it didn’t take long before it arrived.

From the first bite, I think their most memorable thing is the satay sauce. It’s really rich and fragrant, and it’s not one of those sauces that only tastes salty. It goes down smoothly with the noodles.

The Three Treasures include beef, beef brisket, and beef tripe, all cut relatively thick, which I like. The freshness of the ingredients is particularly good, and you can tell from the texture when you eat it—unlike frozen stuff that has been stored for a long time. The beef brisket and tripe are also well seasoned, and paired with the thick satay sauce, it’s very satisfying.

It’s 29 yuan per portion, and I added an extra 2 yuan for meat rolls. At this price, the portion is not stingy, and it was just right after finishing.

Overall, this time I didn’t step on a landmine; I think the taste is beyond reproach. Next time I come back, I plan to try their masala and see what style that is.

For friends near Fujing, if you usually want a simple bowl of noodles but don’t want to eat too casually, I think this place is worth trying.
