Recently, while passing by Jade Street, I found a new Hunan rice noodle shop and decided to give it a try.
I’ve always thought the best thing about Hunan rice noodles is the fresh broth, generous portions, and affordable prices. I originally wanted to order pork-and-offal rice noodles, but I eat that quite often, so this time I switched to a fish noodle soup.
It was only 13 yuan, which is really good value. The fish was pan-fried before being added to the noodles, making it very fragrant with no fishy taste, and the fish meat was quite tender. The portion of rice noodles was just right—enough for one person to feel satisfied without being too little or too much.
For this price, I’m overall quite satisfied. The flavor is on point, and the price is affordable. If you work near Jade Street and want something warm for lunch, this place is worth a try.
