Today, I visited a chicken pot restaurant not far from Pingzhou with friends. We had passed by many times, and every time the entrance was packed with people, mostly locals, so we always felt the taste must be good.
Just then, we saw a poster at the door: two chickens + one turtle + one pork belly for only 168 yuan. The price was quite tempting, so we decided to give it a try today.
The restaurant is currently promoting a “Mo’s Chicken Pot” recipe set meal. We ordered one capon, about five jin. To be honest, the portion was already huge for three people, and later we added a serving of pork belly, leaving us stuffed.
Overall, the value for money here is higher than many other chicken pot places, even more generous than some chain “Mo’s Chicken Pot” restaurants. For three people, the meal cost less than 200 yuan, and the taste was on point—very sincere.
This place is definitely on my revisit list. It’s the kind of restaurant you can blindly choose for everyday gatherings, with unbeatable value.
