The Confucian Temple is actually the local Confucius Temple in Jieyang. It was first built in the Song Dynasty, nearly a thousand years ago. The entire structure retains a very typical Chaoshan traditional architectural style, antique and full of character. Those who enjoy history, culture, or ancient architecture can take a leisurely stroll here.

Today, there weren’t many tourists, so there was no crowded feeling. Walking inside was very quiet, making it easier to appreciate its historical atmosphere. After visiting here, you can also conveniently drop by the nearby City God Temple. Overall, it’s a free attraction worth spending half an hour to an hour at.
