Currently, among flagship executive SUVs, the hot contenders are basically four: the Zeekr 9X released half a year ago, followed by NIO ES9, XPeng GX, and Huawei AITO M9.
If I had to choose personally, given a sufficient budget, I would still recommend the Zeekr 9X. It’s a plug-in hybrid, which offers more flexibility for daily use and less range anxiety on long trips. Its combined range can reach about 1500 km, which is very appealing for frequent long-distance drivers.
Of course, it’s not cheap—the top trim costs nearly 600,000 yuan on the road. But I think it’s worth it given the positioning, features, performance, range, and luxury feel.
If money is no object and you want a flagship SUV with executive feel, performance, and long-range capability, I’d personally prioritize the Zeekr 9X. Honestly, if I had the money, I’d buy it too.
