This shop has been a long-standing establishment on Jade Street for over a decade, always run by an elderly couple from Putian. There’s no fancy decoration, but it has a strong sense of everyday life, giving the feeling of a small stir-fry restaurant where neighbors often eat.

They focus on affordable, freshly cooked dishes, not pre-made meals. The owner cooks to order. Although the environment is ordinary, the wok hei and home-style flavors are more appealing than many fast-food places.

This time I ordered their signature sour cabbage with pork intestines. The intestines were cleaned well, and the sour cabbage was appetizing, making it a great accompaniment to rice. The taste wasn’t particularly amazing, but at this price, it offers good value.

If you work near Jade Street or want a cheap, home-style stir-fry place with wok hei, this one is worth a try.
