Today I brought my kid to experience a live insect museum, mainly to get a feel for close contact with small animals. It’s divided into two floors: upstairs mainly has rodents, rabbits, and mini pigs; downstairs has snakes, insects, lizards, and other more ‘exotic pet’ type animals.
We visited both areas. The family ticket is 99 yuan per person, totaling 198 for two. Overall, it was more interactive than I expected. Kids can closely observe many animals they usually dare not approach, which is a good exercise for courage and curiosity.
We spent about two hours inside, and time passed quickly. The kid was excited the whole time, saying it was totally worth it, and kept discussing the lizards and insects on the way back. Overall, if you have a child who loves small animals and exploring nature, this place is quite recommended.
