Today, while strolling around Sihai City in Panyu, I unexpectedly discovered a high-end Hunan restaurant—Yuheng Xiang. I ordered a 248 yuan set meal, and I can only say: the value for money was surprisingly amazing! In addition, we added their signature fish head, and the ingredients were really fresh. According to the staff, the fish heads are all freshly transported from Dongting Lake, never frozen, so they taste sweet and full of umami, with that ‘live fish elasticity.’ We also ordered their tea oil stir-fried yellow beef; the beef was perfectly tender, and the aroma of tea oil wrapped around the meat, becoming more flavorful with each chew. The rice was Wuchang rice, crystal clear and soft, pairing perfectly with the tea oil beef. Another highlight was their fig and pork ball soup—clear and sweet, with bouncy meatballs, very comforting and palate-cleansing. The overall dining experience was excellent, with both the ambiance and service being quite refined.
