Overall, this ice room’s wontons are quite good. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and of good quality—it’s not the kind of place that cuts corners.
However, the flavor tends to be more suited to local tastes. First-time visitors from other places might not immediately get used to it; they might find the taste quite distinctive. The environment is rather ordinary, not the kind of trendy, Instagram-worthy decor. Most of the customers are locals, which actually adds a sense of authenticity to this neighborhood eatery.
If I were to rate it purely on taste, I’d give it a 4 out of 5. For ingredient quality and freshness, I’d give it a 4.5. Overall, it’s a place more suitable for locals’ daily meals, but also worth a visit for out-of-towners passing by.
