Today I went to Pingdi Market, originally planning to eat at Sunan Goose Rice, but by the time I arrived it was almost 8 PM, and they had already sold out—pretty disappointing.
Just then I noticed a goose rice shop across the street, and they were almost sold out too. I ordered a goose rice and added a piece of goose neck. The boss was honest and gave me the best part of the neck. I also wanted to add goose liver, but the boss said it wouldn’t be as tender if served now, so I skipped it.
Later I grabbed a portion of pig trotters from the next shop to go with it, and it was quite satisfying. Overall, this goose rice is above average—decent taste and not too expensive. If you’re eating at Pingdi Market, you can give it a try.
