I came to Nanwan Street on Weizhou Island. Since I had kids with me who don’t eat much seafood and can’t handle spicy food, I chose this coconut chicken restaurant.
We had eaten quite authentic coconut chicken in Sanya before, so we had a benchmark for this category.
Overall, the portions here were small, the prices high, and the value for money not great.
The taste was okay—light and not offensive, acceptable for kids.
But honestly, this is common on Weizhou Island; overall prices are high.
If you need to cater to kids or avoid spicy food and seafood, this can be an option.
If you’re looking for value, don’t expect too much.
