This Hanjing restaurant in Panyu is astonishingly large, at least two to three thousand square meters. The overall decoration is garden-style, with fountains and rockeries, giving the environment a grand feel.
I went there on New Year’s Day, and the parking lot was full early. We waited in line for about half an hour, and the place was buzzing. An old restaurant that has been open for many years and is still this popular must have its reasons.
Their dishes are very consistent in quality, and you can tell they are freshly made, not pre-prepared. The overall experience was good. After eating, I even booked their New Year’s Eve dinner on the spot, hoping it will be even more impressive.
